The “Theme” is by spaceperson who created it for WordPress.com. The links are posted at the bottom of every page on the site. I am often asked this particular question. So I will answer it one last time on this blog. All you need to do is use the template provided by WordPress.com This is always the case for every blog theme provided by WordPress if it is standard. You need never wonder how to get it; it is linked to at the bottom of every page. Please no more of this question folks; I am asked it almost every month. The theme is obviously provided by WordPress for free!

Caroline, the key to avoiding this comes with three tricks. First, you will need to make your doll’s torso, which should include the head with a very sturdy cotton canvas. This is because you must “over stuff” the head and the canvas must be strong enough to accommodate this pressure without ripping. Secondly, you must make your first seam by hand with dental floss, waxed preferably. Third, you will need then to go over the seam again with hand stitching after you have sewn your doll’s head, tucking the bumps. Then you can Gesso the doll’s head only before painting it with either acrylic or oil paints, preferably acrylic. After you have finished this, seal your head with an acrylic, non-yellowing varnish.

I did many years ago. I’m afraid,however, these dolls were sold at a time when I did not keep records of the dolls that I made. I hope you enjoy using her patterns!
